The Elephant In The Room

We have to address the elephant in the room.  Captain Kumamon has been busy making new friends, and we are starting to collect a towel animal menagerie.  We’ve had a dog, an elephant, a bear, and a penguin.  They pretend to be napping, but we’re pretty sure that whenever we leave the cabin, a party breaks out.

Our final two days at sea have been lazy ones – reading books, doing crosswords and suduko, eating (endless eating) and of course, trivia.  We managed to score one more win with Urban Myths, but didn’t claim our prize.  It’s been very windy and the swimming pool has turned into a wave pool.  It’s almost time now to pack the suitcases, spend the last of our onboard credit on ice creams, and head for home.

Thanks for all that. i must admit i’d forgotten you were away until after i had an email discussion with Ian today. and then thought ‘maybe you are still away’. but apparently not. My dad spent time in PNG during WW2. Pretty sure he was at Milne Bay at some stage. but he never talked about it.
